The 2006 Carto Cup was officially announced on March 6. Students were given 28 days to come up with their best cartographic product.
Steve Platt submitted an excellent series of maps and a write-up showing the interaction between bears and humans in the Penticton-Okanagan Falls area of British Columbia to capture the 2006 Carto Cup.
