Nancy Greene completed the Liberal Studies BA through our partnership program at North Island College. After graduating, she began a career she pursued her work in anthropology, and was instrumental in the discovery and investigation of an important First Nations fishing weir on Vancouver Island.
“I found my experience in the Liberal Studies Program to be liberating. I honed my ability to think critically, to think outside the box and to become more fearless about taking on new ideas. I learned to stand more solidly behind my own inspiration and to take more risks. Best of all I studied great thoughts, the thoughts of some of the greatest scholars and thinkers of their day and, often most inspiring, those of my fellow students.”
