Alumnus Focus
After completing his BA in Liberal Studies, Earl St. Denis returned to his previous successful career in engineering. He lives on Gabriola Island, near Nanaimo, and travels extensively.
“My profession is engineering, which has provided me with an excellent training and career, but little education. Thanks to Liberal Studies, I read difficult material with enhanced comprehension and speed, communicate more effectively, and articulate my thoughts in a more reasoned manner. I credit not only the classical works we studied, but also the pedagogical process of seminars, lectures and essay writing.
