Please contact Dave Cake at least 24 hours prior to the webinar time to register, or this webinar may be cancelled due to insufficient interest. Once you have registered, you will be sent an invitation by e-mail a few days before the webinar starts, which supplies all necessary information and enables you to install the software and start the conference with a single click.

On the webinar day, please join Dave Cake for a free interactive webinar on VIU’s GIS programs.

We will discuss the differences between the On-Campus and Online versions of the program, what is taught in each, admission requirements, tuition fees, and the practicum in the On-Campus version of the program. We will help you to compare the On-Campus and Online programs by highlighting what each program covers, and will also briefly introduce the master’s program (MGISA). During this webinar, we will answer any questions that you may have about the program.

We use the Zoom video conferencing application for our webinars, which supports both PC and Mac operating systems. Instructions for setting up and running Zoom will be circulated prior to the webinar. For audio, you may use a headset attached to your computer, you may call in on a telephone, or you may participate by typing in your questions on your computer.
