Students must complete all required courses with a grade of C or better (with the exception of MATH 161 which requires "C-").

At the Nanaimo Campus, there are two sections of each lower level course offered each semester. The Cowichan and tiwšɛmawtxʷ (Powell River) Campuses may also offer Crim classes.
* Criminology electives can be chosen from one of CRIM 200, 210, 213, 241, 251 or 290.
** Students who achieve a grade of B+ or higher in ENGL 115 or 125 or 135 are not required to take a further English course. Another elective can be chosen in its place.
