A Brief Guide to Writing Philosophy Papers August 3, 2016 - 4:54pm

The standards for writing a good philosophy paper are like those for any scholarly writing. The writer should discuss the issues or ideas that form the subject matter of the paper in an orderly manner, omit needless redundancy and material irrelevant to the central issues of the paper, and provide footnote citations and quotations wherever necessary to support the views expressed in the paper.
