A Flurry of Fairytales - find out what happens after ‘happily ever after’ Malaspina Theatre at VIU presents the Sondheim spellbinding classic tale of a Baker and his Wife wound together in a mess of different fairy tales all intertwined in the woods. Cinderella, red riding hood, Rapunzel, Jack and his beanstalk, a couple of princes together with a wicked stepmother and a witch all mixed together to present a hysterical and brilliant journey. |

Katherine Rycroft has a BBA from Malaspina College and a M.Ed. from Memorial University of Newfoundland. She is currently enrolled in VIU’s BEd post bacc. program. Although the focus of her studies is Education, she thinks that literature is of vital importance in today’s complex world.

Keith's teaching experience has been wide-ranging, from McGill University to Leclerc Penitentiary. His teaching philosophy is that "a word is a bridge thrown between myself and another" (Valentin Voloshinov). He has taught a variety of courses and workshops at Vancouver Island University over the past twenty-five years, with an emphasis on creative writing, Canadian literature, Shakespeare, and film.
