How to Apply

Prospective Students

1. Ensure that you meet the program’s Admission Requirements.

2. Apply to VIU online or submit an Application for Admission form, available from regional secondary schools or any VIU registration centre. You will be required to pay a non-refundable application fee.

3. Submit a copy of your official transcripts by mail. Only original copies will be accepted.

4. You will be notified by email of your initial application receipt and prompted to submit the following, by email attachment, to Vancouver Island University:

   • Resume
   • 3 letters of recommendation
   • A comprehensive statement of interest outlining:
     1. Area of research interest
     2. career interests
     3. volunteer and/or career experience
